“Just fix him so he doesn’t die today,” Peyton ordered. “We’ll worry about the rest later.”

Kyra nodded. “Okay. Marcus, can you prop Edward up against the wall in a sitting position for me?”

Marcus turned and walked to the man Creator 2 of 2 knelt near. He reached under the man’s arms and dragged his body into a sitting position.

“Thank you,” Kyra said.

Marcus studied the silent man as she opened his cybernetic compartment. Edward jerked as she pulled the old logic chip. He watched her insert another. “Will he live?” Marcus asked.
